Thomas G Walker Transportation: Service Animal Policy

Thomas G Walker Transportation, LLC welcomes passengers who travel with trained service animals. We are committed to providing safe, accessible, and respectful transportation services while complying with applicable laws regarding service animals.
1. Service Animals
A service animal is generally defined as a dog that has been individually trained to perform specific tasks or work for a person with a disability.
Service animals are welcome to accompany passengers while receiving transportation services.
2. Passenger Responsibilities
To help ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, passengers traveling with service animals are asked to:
• Maintain control of the service animal at all times.
• Keep the service animal harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless doing so interferes with its work.
• Ensure the animal does not pose a direct threat to the safety of others.
• Inform us when scheduling transportation if traveling with a service animal whenever possible.
Advance notice is appreciated but not required..
3. Emotional Support Animals
Emotional Support Animals (ESAs), comfort animals, or therapy animals that are not trained service animals may be accommodated at the discretion of Thomas G Walker Transportation, LLC based upon vehicle space, scheduling, and other operational considerations.
Passengers should contact us prior to scheduling transportation to discuss accommodations.
4. Driver Responsibilities
Our drivers are committed to treating all passengers traveling with service animals respectfully and professionally.
Drivers will not:
• Refuse transportation solely because of a trained service animal.
• Separate a passenger from their service animal.
• Charge additional fees solely because a passenger is traveling with a trained service animal
5. Health & Safety
Thomas G Walker Transportation, LLC reserves the right to refuse transportation if an animal poses a direct threat to the health or safety of passengers or drivers or causes significant disruption that cannot be reasonably managed.
